At Penn State New Kensington you have the option of staying at the campus to complete your degree in several four-year baccalaureate or two-year associate degree programs. Also, Penn State New Kensington serves as a direct pipeline to the largest campus in the Penn State system, University Park, as well as other campuses across the state. You can begin the first two years of any of Penn State’s 275+ majors at the New Kensington campus before completing the final two years at another Penn State campus. This is called the 2+2 Plan and it is the most common path to a Penn State degree.

International student applicants are students who require any type of visa in order to attend Penn State. The University enrolls thousands of international students from over 130 different countries. International applicants to Penn State New Kensington must submit various documents to complete their application:
Academic Records: Provide secondary school records and, if applicable, post-secondary school records.
English Language Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in English through standardized tests such as TOEFL or IELTS.
Standardized Tests: Submit scores from standardized tests required for admission consideration.
